Livestock & Horse Shows
What would Old Home Week be without Livestock and Horse Shows? Competitors and exhibitors from across the Maritimes come to Old Home Week every year to take part in the elite livestock and equine competitions. We invite you to enjoy these amazing shows, and embrace the pride of PEI farmers, athletes, and competitors.

All About PEI!
Old Home Week was built on the celebration of Island agriculture, and this year’s event is no different! Take in the Experience Stage and learn something new with our cooking demos and information sessions on many different topics. The grounds will come alive as the best in Prince Edward Island agriculture come to the city, with tremendous food and culture exhibitions and displays. Experience great Island Arts & Crafts, the Women’s Institute, 4-H Displays, Animal Farms, and much more!

Celebrate Agriculture!
Experience a piece of Island Agriculture through a visit to the Celebrate Agriculture Exhibit. Learn more about the high quality food produced right here on PEI and where you can buy it fresh from the farm gate.
There’s plenty to see and do throughout the area; plant seeds, perform experiments, and investigate insects up close! Get your picture taken with Missy, our life size dairy cow, while learning about the food she eats and the milk she produces. Chat with our specialists and Industry leaders throughout the week for first hand information about Island farmers and their dedication to the land, their families, and their communities.
