Agricultural Shows
One thing Islanders have always taken pride in is their commitment to quality in agriculture and they showcase this pride annually at Old Home Week’s Agricultural shows. Agricultural Competitions
Competition can bring out the best in people, and the same goes for animals. The four-legged or winged participants in these shows will be groomed and primped to be perfect examples of their respective breeds. From dairy and beef cattle to sheep and lambs to pigeons and ducks, judges will be making some tough choices and informed calls as some of the most show-worthy agricultural animals from across the Island and the region compete to be the best.
