Five classic breeds of beef cattle - Angus, Shorthorn, Simmental, Herefords and Charolais - will be shown and compete in this year’s Beef Cattle Show. They will be judged in the classes of Calf, Yearling and Cow/Calf and are rated on overall body composition. The Beef Cattle Show is one of the oldest traditions of Old Home Week and continues to be an annual crowd pleaser.

A new aspect to this year’s show will be a commercial, or crossbred, Angus show in conjunction with the original Angus show.
