Old Home Week
Old Home Week

Old Home Week returns August 12th to August 21st, 2010! We hope you can join us for another year of family fun!

Old Home Week is the time when Prince Edward Island embraces and celebrates itself - and invites you to come along to join in the fun!

Since 1888, Islanders and visitors alike have come to Charlottetown to take part in the vast array of fun, educational and community activities that make up Old Home Week.

Each year, organizers of Old Home Week put together of a roster of top-notch entertainment for the whole family. From musical performances to animal acts to some of Canada's most popular buskers and performers, each year brings something new to the line-up.

Combine these exciting events with the Midway and all the livestock and agricultural shows and competitions that have made Old Home Week famous, no visitor to Old Home Week will be lacking in something to see and do.

We invite you to visit Old Home Week to discover for yourself why we are PEI’s Family Fun Fair!

Meet Clover the Cow & Derby the Chicken!
As part of the 2009 celebrations, two new Old Home Week mascots were introduced in our “Name the Mascots & Colouring Contest.”

Congratulations to Zoe & Lindy, age 6, who worked as a team to name Clover the Cow. We also want to congratulate Matthew Doyle, age 7, for also coming up with the name Clover for our cow!

Our big winner was Daniel MacDonald, who won the basket from Murphy's Pharmacies, and family passes for the week to Old Home Week. Daniel named Derby the Chicken and had the best colouring page.

A special thanks to all those who entered.
